Christine Bailey
Christine is a retired Salvation Army Officer and as such worked in church and regional leadership and in youth work and training and development, in the UK, South America and Latvia. Prior to this she was a teacher and holds degrees from both the University of Leicester and London. She has been part of the Dunbar Debt Advice Service since its inception and is an Approved Money Adviser.
Moira Cockburn
Now retired, Moira worked in a variety of settings ranging from hospitality to horticulture to setting up and running a business with her husband, her main career having been in investment management. As well as a busy family life with two daughters and five grandchildren, she has many years’ experience of volunteering with different community groups. Through her long-standing connection with local churches, Moira joined Dunbar Debt Advice Service three years ago and is pleased to be involved with such a worthwhile service for the Dunbar area.
Steve Kileen
Steve is a chemist by profession and spent more than 35 working within the field of environmental protection. Now retired , he worked on a wide range of science , regulatory and policy issues both in the UK and Internationally. For many years he also coached and mentored a diverse group of people. Steve is married with two daughters and has been a member of the Dunbar Debt Advice Service for nearly two years.
Mike Harvey
Mike is a retired doctor. He and his wife moved to Dunbar from Essex in 2020. Mike is actively involved as a vestry member with St Annes church, and the debt advice service based there. He is acutely aware of the financial difficulties that many people are currently facing and is keen to help anyone living in and around Dunbar who find themselves, for whatever reason, in debt.
Pam Shields
Pam has a Master Degree in Business Administration and extensive experience as a general manager in the manufacturing and industrial services sector. She relocated from Liverpool to various locations before settling in Dunbar in 2018. She appreciates the kindness and support of the Dunbar community and wants to contribute to easing some of the hardship people are facing in this challenging time.
